Packing and boxes
Pack it yourself, or leave it to us.
Our packers can do the whole house the day before you move, or just the kitchen and the breakables. If you’d rather do it yourself, we sell the same boxes we use and deliver them free.

Packing yourself?
Six things our packers swear by.

01
Heavy in small, light in large
Books and tins go in small boxes. Big boxes are for bedding and cushions, or they won’t lift.
02
Fill every gap
A box that rattles will crush. Pack gaps with towels, tea towels or scrunched paper.
03
Plates on their edge
Wrap each one and stand them up like records. They’re far stronger that way than flat.
04
Label two sides
Write the room and what’s inside on the side and the top, so we can read it in a stack.
05
Keep 20kg in mind
If you struggle to lift it, so will the stairs. Split it into two boxes.
06
Pack a first-night box
Kettle, mugs, tea, loo roll, phone chargers, bedding and a screwdriver. It travels with you.
A fixed price for your move, usually within a day.
Tell us where you’re moving from and to, and roughly how much there is. We’ll come back with a price that won’t change on the day.
