How far ahead should I book?
Four to six weeks for a Friday or the end of the month, which are our busiest days. Midweek moves can often be booked within a week.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
We take £100 to hold your date, which comes off the final bill. The rest is due the day before. If your completion date moves, the deposit moves with it.
What if my completion is late?
Tell us as soon as you know. If it slips on the day, we wait. If it slips overnight, your things stay on the lorry in our locked yard, and the first night is free.
Will you take furniture apart?
Yes. Beds, wardrobes and flat-pack furniture are taken apart and rebuilt as part of the price. We don’t disconnect gas cookers or plumbing.
Is there anything you won’t move?
Paint, gas bottles, petrol, fireworks and anything else flammable. The moving day page has the full list.
A fixed price for your move, usually within a day.
